As a certified Credit Union Development Educator, Hayley brings eight years’ experience in diverse nonprofit organizations and credit unions, as well as a B.A. focused on international development from the American University in Washington, D.C. She has a passion for volunteering locally and abroad, which has enabled her to connect with communities in Latin America, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southern Europe through sustainable farming and co-operative management consulting.
Hayley was prior Marketing and Communications Manager at the Environmental Law Institute and held positions at the World Bank and Population Services International. In discovering the Credit Union movement, however, Hayley found a “forever home” in a career leveraging the power of co-operative values to help shape creative, sustainable solutions for an economy and community to flourish.
She is excited by the fusion of her work in community development at Rivermark CCU with her role in YCUP to build a more engaged and inclusive network. She sees YCUP as an opportunity to forge strategic partnerships and advance our collective impact to strengthen financial and social well-being for all.
